Pictures in Flight
Inspired by Julianne Kost's wonderful book Window Seat, I've been starting to take pictures on my recent flurry of flights. My photography skills and Photoshop skills are no where near Julianne's but it's been fun taking the pictures. Here's one from a recent trip out to New York. This is somewhere between Portland and Minneapolis.

I then duplicated the background layer and changed the Blend Mode to Multiply.
I duplicated that layer and changed the Blend Mode to Overlay and adjusted the opacity to 38%.
Finally, I added a Curves adjustment layer and adjusted the Black Point. The result is below.
