Wacom's new Intuos 4 Tablets

Last week at Photoshop World, Wacom announced a significant update to the line of Intuos tablets. The all new Intuos 4 tablets have been redesigned and not only do they look incredibly cool, but they have some really cool new features. You can learn all about the features and watch videos of the tablets in action at the Wacom Intuos 4 page, but my favorite new features are the LED lights that tell you what each button has been programmed for along with the scroll wheel (that reminds me of my 5th generation video iPod) that replaces the touch strips for doing things like adjusting brush size, zooming, rotating in CS4 and more.

We had someone from Wacom stop by our office yesterday (their U.S. headquarters is only 20 miles from the onOne office in Portland) and he brought a tablet to show us up close. I grabbed a couple of photos of it before he had to take it back with him...

Next month, we'll be posting some videos on how to configure your Wacom tablet to best be used with some of the onOne products like Mask Pro and PhotoTools so stay tuned!
