Velveteen Preset on the Exchange Site

I just posted a new PhotoTools 2 Professional Edition preset over on the onOne Exchange. It's called the Velveteen Glow and it combines the Velveteen effect from Kevin Kubota and the Diffuse Glow effect written by Jack Davis. The Velveteen effect adds a nice touch to the color and diffuses the shadows over the highlights. I couldn't get enough so I added the Diffuse Glow to give it a stylized look. Give it a try. I think you'll like it. Here's the example image I posted at the Exchange site.
The funny thing here is that I never would have thought of using the Velveteen effect on a portrait shot as I've always thought of it as more of a landscape effect. However, that changed for me when I was going through the latest images published to the onOne Flickr group and saw this image that uses the Velveteen effect and it made me want to go try it out for myself.
