So it’s been about 2 weeks since I upgraded to the new Canon 5D Mark II and I’m really liking it. I’ve mostly shot with it so far in fairly good light outdoors, but tonight decided to shoot with my Canon EF 70-200 f/4 L IS and crank up the ISO to see what I could do. The results were pretty amazing, especially coming from my old (but trusty Canon 20D).

Canon 5D Mark II, EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS, 1/50 sec @ f 4.0, ISO 3200

Canon 5D Mark II, 70-200mm f/4 L IS, 1/8 sec @ f/4.0, ISO 1600

Nice shots Mike!! I love my 5D MKII! I am still getting use to the full frame and the ability to crank the ISOs up.

Thank you! It takes a little getting used to with the full frame, but I’m totally loving it. I have to remind myself every now and then not to be afraid about cranking up the ISO! It’s sooooo much better than my old 20D that I’ll be selling shortly!
