@John - thanks for the comment. We don't have any plans to support any other camera manufacturers other than Canon and Nikon.

Hi Mike,

Like you're thoughts on this idea:

I'd like to ask for a feature request from On-on-one.

I love HDR
but I would love to apply it to timelapse.

You can bracket shots with a regular intervelomenter, but you’re limited to the duration being the same between each shot. The longer the pause, the more likely your three bracketed shots will not align thus ghosting the HDR result.

I think DSLR Remote is one step away from offering a better solution.

If it could offer an ability to bracket a shot
and yet intervelometer at the same time it would be fantastic.

The trick would be to offer the option to adjust the intervelometer lapse (or pause) in between the bracketing. That way the bracketed shots would be taken closely together when there was no movement (i.e. clouds, sun, moon, stars) but then you could adjust the pause before the next set.

For example:
click (normal) , click (+X stops), click (-X stops), pause x-time
repeat.

That would allow RAW images to be taken with full HDR capability and yet still have time lapse.

It would be a godsend.

Add the ability to control with bluetooth instead wifi (for remote locations)
and it would be worshiped by camera people the world over!

My two cents.

[...] OnOne’s Camera Remote App can now make your ipad a remote for Your Nikon or Canon DSLR. You will need the pricey $50 app and a wifi connection to a computer with the camera hooked up. But I can see this set up being extremely useful on big shoots and remote camera set ups from multiple locations. Posted by dmiao Filed in Equipment News No Comments » [...]
