Working on DSLR Camera Remote Server Update
September 16, 2009 by Mike Wong • 8 Comments
Just a quick note to let you know that we are working on an update to our DSLR Camera Remote Server. The update addresses the issues that Windows users have been experiencing with the new Canon T1i as well as issues around using the burst mode on the T1i. As an additional bonus, we'll be adding support for the new Nikon D300s as well. We don't have a new SDK from Canon yet, so this update will not be adding support for the new Canon 7D at this time.
The good news for those of you who waited so patiently for the 1.1 update is that this update for these fixes will all be made in the Server application and not in the iPhone/iPod Touch app. Since the DSLR Camera Remote app that you get through iTunes is not being updated, there is no need to wait for the approval process at the iTunes App Store.
As soon as we finish testing and bug regression on these items, we'll post a new installer for the free DSLR Camera Remote Server and notify everyone via this blog, Twitter and email.

do you plan to support pentax k7?
best regards
henk
If the problem was just on the server side, you would think a update would be out by now.
Maybe a timeline?
TIA
Canon T1i user waiting and waiting and waiting, long time since should be ready by end of July !!!!!
Bummer, really looking forward to 7D support
Will you also be adding support for the new Nikon D3000?
I just payed for the app on Itunes and now i found out that it does not support the D3000, any Ideas why and when is the update coming out?
@Patrick: The D3000 is not listed as a supported camera on our website or in the iTunes app store. Nikon has informed us that the do not plan on adding support for tethered shooting with the D3000 in their SDK. Since we rely on their SDK for camera support, we can only add support for cameras when the camera manufacturer adds support for it in their SDK.
Will you be adding support for the EOS Rebel T2i aka 550D? Thanks!
Thanks for updating…. I will be regularly visiting your blog from now on.
