For those of you with Plug-In Suite 5 or onOne Essentials 3, there is a free update available that revs the products up to version 5.0.1 and 3.0.1 respectively. The 5.0.1 and 3.0.1 updates include several fixes that you definitely want to get. For a quick summary of what is included in the Plug-In Suite 5.0.1 update and in the onOne Essentials 3.0.1, please see the list below.
- Improved support for ATI video card drivers for Windows (PhotoTools, PhotoTune)
- Improved stability and reduced memory footprint for PhotoTune (memory errors can still occur on large images under Windows 32-bit)
- Improved performance for Mask Pro under Windows
- Fixed an error with cursor tracking in Mask Pro
- Fixed an erroneous out of memory error with Mask Pro (missing onOneWelcomeDialog.framework)
- Improved performance with large brushes in Mask Pro

To install any of these updates, you can go to the Help menu in any of the products and choose the “Check for Updates…” menu item. The update will automatically download and install. Alternately, you may download the update and run the installer manually by going to http://www.ononesoftware.com/support/software_updates.php
If you are a Plug-In Suite 5 user, it is important that you get the 5.0.1 update that is for the entire Suite. In other words, do not download and try to install the PhotoTune 3.0.1 updater, the PhotoTools 2.5.1 updater or the Mask Pro 4.1.7 updater. Those individual updaters are intended for those users who only use those products outside of the entire Plug-In Suite 5.

Still didn’t get a reply from your support guys Mike. Today it has been exactly 4 months without answer on my last 2 emails to them. Let alone all the blog and facebook postings I send in afterwards to get their attention. Is there still a way to get my money back or better, get this thing working for me?
Cheers,
Tristan

I am using Capture One ver. 4.1 and just got my Canon 1d Mark IV. Is there an update for this version that includes the Mark IV profile? IF so, can someone point me to it for download??
Thanks,
Jerry

Funny thing how a company alienates potential customers by not answering their questions. Maybe these are the very subjects that need to be “tweeted” about. I wasn’t “surprised” to learn that OnOne’s professionalism is seriously lacking just by reading the above blog comments.
Come on, Mike, wake up! Or at least make a vague attempt to answer these people.

Wow. I am really surprised with the above comments. I appreciate hearing this before making a decision whether or not to make a purchase. I will hold off for now until I see some positive feedback. I remember the old Extensis days when times were brighter. Thanks Tristan and mahvin and mnera. I need to buy from a company that provides some decent level of support. These products add to ProApps so onOne should not take their responsibility lightly.
