hi im using Canon EOS 1100D, when i launch the DSLR REMOTE on my IPAD, it says
‘camera not supported’.

DSLR Remote Server v 1.4.1

DSLR Remote Pro for iPad v 1.4.1

DSLR Remote Pro for iPhone v 1.4.1

Just upgraded both versions from 1.4 and now server always crashes after taking one picture. Running Mac OS 10.7 Lion.

Worked great with Snow Leopard.

1.4 server doesn’t work for me on my Macbook Pro. (10.6.8). Crashes at launch with message:

“error starting up the server 1″.

Last console entry reads:

[/Users/mesagen/onOne/gitprojects/ONCore/Projects/Mac/DLLMain.cpp] finalizer()

Old version used to work until the newer client forced me to upgrade the server and now nothing works.

I have the same issue as comment #131

Using win 7 with the free version, I’d purchase the commercial version but seeing as I can’t get the free one working I’m holding off.

Basically the PC can see my camera and the test URL connects successfully from the PC as well as the iPhone. When I launch the app on the iPhone I can see my PC server on the list but when I tap the server name nothing happens. The loading icon appears next to the server name but it doesn’t do anything…I can’t see the app controls.

If I can get this working I’ll buy the full version, has anyone had this issue or have any ideas? Thanks

Like others, I cannot seem to connect to the server. It is running fine on my Macbook. I can bring up the test URL fine on my iPhone. I can also see it with a Bonjour browser on my iPhone. But I cannot get the DSLR remote app to connect to the server. It says server not found, and nothing appears under local if I browse on the “servers” page.

I have been trying for a week to get this to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved – On the mac – created adhoc wifi network (no password)
ipad altered wifi to connect to adhoc network
Result !!

my ipad and my iphone dont see the server even though the server connection test works on the browser.

Canon 20D firmware 2.0.3 – normal connection
Onone recognises camera and starts ok
ipad and iphone on the latest release
Black macbook running 10.6.7

Your program works fine but after about 20 minutes the computer turns off. The computer will stay on forever except when I am using DSLR Canera remote. How can I fix this?

I bought DSLR Pro through Itunes.
Tried to post this to tech support but form wants a lic number to work…

Downloaded and installed Server software
Installed App on Ipod 4

Log on laptop shows server is up and published

Server software sees D7000

Putting URl in browser gets successfil conection on both Ipod and Laptop

IPod App cannot find server

Errror message on Ipod:

Camera Warning

A DSLR Remote Camera Server could not be found. Please check your network and firewall settings.

Turned off firewall…same results
