Scott Kelby's 4th Annual Gonzo Gear Guide

Like many of you I suspect, I just got my copy of Photoshop User magazine in the mail. This is one of the issues that I look forward to the most because it includes Scott Kelby's annual Gonzo Gear Guide. I always enjoy reading about the gear that Scott recommends and usually find myself picking up at least one of the items on the list each year.

Last year, Scott included PhotoFrame 4 as the only Photoshop plug-in on the list. This year, Scott has expanded the software category to include a couple of additional plug-ins along with our brand new Photoshop plug-in FocalPoint 2. Turn to page 43 in your December 2009 issue of Photoshop User magazine to see for yourself. Also on the list in the software category are Viveza 2 from Nik Software and Topaz Adjust from Topaz Labs.

The items on this list this year that I think I'll be picking up for myself or asking my wife to get me include David DuChemin's new book Within the Frame: The Journey of Photographic Vision (available from Peachpit or Amazon); a Lastolite TriGrip One-Stop diffuser (Lastolite or B&H); or the Lastolite Hot Shoe EZYBox (Lastolite or B&H).
