The New onOne Palette

One the most common questions we have received since the release of our Plug-In Suite 5 is “How do I get to the plug-ins? I only see Mask Pro 4 in the Photoshop CS4 Filter menu. Where are Genuine Fractals, PhotoTools, PhotoFrame, PhotoTune and FocalPoint?” Well, the short answer is that technically, the only “Filter” that we develop here at onOne is Mask Pro 4. The rest of the plug-ins technically are Automation plug-ins and “live” elsewhere within Photoshop.

PhotoTools users – if you haven’t already been notified about the 1.0.3 update from the software update notice within PhotoTools, you can go to the Software Updates page and download the 1.0.3 update for PhotoTools that adds Photoshop CS4 compatibility.

FocalPoint 1.0.2 for Photoshop CS4

FocalPoint users, we now have updates for Photoshop CS4 compatibility.

You’ll want to go to our Software Updates page and download the 1.0.2 updates for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Please note if you are using Photoshop CS4 on a Windows operating system, the onOne menu will not appear after running the update. You’ll have to access FocalPoint from the File > Automate menu at this time. We hope to get an update out later that gets the onOne menu back, but for now, you’ll need to go to File > Automate.

Plug-In Suite 4.1 Updates for Photoshop CS4

Many of you who own the Plug-In Suite 4.1 may have already been notified via email or via an Auto-Update message, but in case you haven’t heard yet, there are two updates available for the Plug-In Suite 4.1 that adds compatibility for Photoshop CS4.

If you are using Windows, you’ll want to download the 4.1.1 update.

If you are using Mac OS X, you’ll want to download the 4.1.2 update.

If you want to check on the status of any other onOne Software plug-in and Photoshop CS4, Lightroom 2 and Aperture 2.1 compatibility, this is the page you want.
