Einar Erlendsson who runs the Focus on Nature Workshops in Iceland recently posted an interview with Vincent Versace on his teaching style and what he's looking forward to the most in the next workshop that they do together. There are two photographs posted along with the interview that are, in my humble opinion, amazing. The contrast in the clouds and smoke are incredible. I don't think anyone does this better than Vincent. Take a look for yourself.

I recently sat down with Vincent Versace at his studio near Hollywood and he was gracious enough to share with us some of the reasons that he has used Genuine Fractals on 100% of the images that Vincent has created for over the past 10 years. But enough of me talking about this. Just watch the video below!

Wow, there were some amazing photos submitted for the January 2009 Black and White photo contest. Over 100 entries and there were some really amazing shots. But in the end, Vincent Versace, our guest judge, had to pick just one. The winner for January's contest is Vladimir Fanning. Congratulations Vladimir! Here's the winning shot.
For his winning entry, Vladimir will receive Vincent's newest DVD called "Pixels in the Mist". He'll also get a signed 24" x 30" print from Vincent's collection of work. Congratulations again Vladimir and thank you to everybody who entered. There were a few of you who had trouble using the form at the end of the contest but if you emailed your pictures to me, they were shown to Vincent for consideration so even if you didn't see it in the gallery, it was reviewed.

The January 2009 Photo Contest is heating up! There were over 20 new photos submitted in the past few days and the deadline to submit your photo is January 31, 2009. Okay, it's time to kick off the January 2009 photo contest! The theme for this month's contest is Black and White. Send us your best black and white photo for your chance to win the latest DVD from Vincent Versace called "Pixels in the Mist". The winning entry will also receive a 24" x 30" signed print from Vincent. So dig through your photo collections and choose your favorite black and white conversion technique and then submit your photo over on the official January 2009 Photo Contest Page.
