A: Users who purchased GF 4.1 prior to the announcement of GF 5.0 can upgrade when the new version is available at the upgrade price of $69.95.

A: We stated over 12 months ago that we've been examining both pxl SmartScale and Genuine Fractals and how best to incorporate the two into a single product. Genuine Fractals 5.0 is the result of our findings. pxl SmartScale users will find some familiar tools and options in Genuine Fractals 5.0. Additionally, users of any version of pxl SmartScale qualify for the upgrade price to get the new version of Genuine Fractals 5.0 when it ships.

Q: If I purchase pxl SmartScale on or after 12/18/2006, will I get the free upgrade to Genuine Fractals 5.0?
A: Yes, you will get the free upgrade to GF 5. We will be notifying customers who have purchased pxl SmartScale after 12/18/2006 with upgrade information once Genuine Fractals 5.0 has been released.

PhotoFrame Pro 3, Intellihance Pro 4, and Mask Pro 4 Questions

Q: When will the updates for PhotoFrame Pro 3, Intellihance Pro 4, and Mask Pro 4 be available?
A: Shortly after Photoshop CS3 is commercially available.

Q: When will Photoshop CS3 be commercially available?
A: Adobe has publicly stated that they anticipate shipping Photoshop CS3 in Q2 of 2007.

Q: Will your plug-ins work with the Public Beta of Photoshop CS3?
A: For Photoshop CS3 on Windows, we have not seen any major problems with our plug-ins. For Photoshop CS3 on Mac OS X, the plug-ins will not currently work because the currently shipping versions of our plug-ins were developed for PowerPC based Macs or run under Rosetta with Photoshop CS2 on Intel-based Macintosh computers. Because the Public Beta of Photoshop CS3 is a Universal Binary (can run on both Intel-based and PowerPC-based Macs), non-Universal Binary plug-ins will not load correctly. As stated in our release, we are working on making PhotoFrame Pro 3, Intellihance Pro 4 and Mask Pro 4 compatible with Photoshop CS3 in the spring of 2007.

Q: What if I need to run an onOne Software plug-in in Photoshop CS3 on an Intel Mac?
A: You will have to run Photoshop CS3 under Rosetta. Refer to the Apple technical support forums for information on how to do this.
