I’m getting the message that it’s already activated on another computer

This can be due to a variety of reasons.  Our copy protection software is not compatible with cloning software like Norton Ghost or restoring from a back-up source like Apple’s Time Machine as well as running in emulation like Apple’s Rosetta or VMWare.  It is also not compatible with multi-boot set-ups, i.e. you have two internal hard drives with two different operating systems.

If you have restored your system from a cloned back-up and are getting the message that the software is already licensed on another computer please contact customer service for further assistance.

If you are a system administrator and are needing to deploy a hard drive image with our software the best workaround would be to install the onOne product on to the “Master” drive without activating it.  Once the ghosted image has been deployed you will then need to activate on the client computers.

For multi-boot/mult-hard drive systems you will want to activate and use your onOne product in only one operating system.
