The plug-in installer is freezing or not launching – Windows only

This is due to the User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7 being turned on. Please adjust the UAC settings and try running the installer.

  1. Go to: Control Panel/ User Accounts
  2. Select the user account
  3. Select “Change User Account Control Settings”
  4. Set the UAC notification slider to “Never Notify”
  5. Run the plug-in installer again. Once the installer is complete, you will be able to set the UAC to your preferred setting.
