The steps below will resolve the issue.

Mac users:

  1. Please launch the Activity Monitor (Go to the Mac HD\Applications\Utilities)
  2. Choose “All Processes” in the upper right pull down menu of the Activity Monitor
  3. Locate the process named NalpierondVb, select this process and then click on the Quit button (you may also see NalpeironV, Nalpeiron5, or Nalpeiron6)
  4. Choose the Force Quit button from the confirmation dialog
  5. Please restart the computer
  6. Launch your plug-in from Photoshop

If you go through the above steps and continue to receive the error, please try these steps below.

  1. System Preferences
  2. Choose Accounts (your accounts)
  3. Choose the Login Items tab
  4. Check the box for the file labeled “Register (onOne Software product name)”
  5. Once the file is highlighted, please choose the minus button to remove the file
  6. Restart the computer and launch the plug-in(s)

Window Users:

  1. Please go to the Start menu and choose Control Panel
  2. Launch the Administrative tools
  3. From Administrative tools, please launch Services
  4. In the Service window you will see the AST Service and will can choose the PLAY button to start this service
  5. Please also set the Windows Event Log in Administrative Tools\Services to Automatic
  6. Please restart the computer
  7. Launch your plug-in from Photoshop

NOTE: Sometimes another process (virus protection) can prevent the AST Service from starting for the first time.
