Please do not cancel this window and allow the plug-in to launch. You will not need to select the onOne icon in the dock. This window will remain open in the background while using the plug-in.

With Photoshop CS5 on the Mac, Mask Pro works inside of itsown application that communicates with Photoshop. You still use this plug-in the same way as you always have. Using an external application made it faster for onOne to add support for Photoshop CS5 and gives us greater control over system resource allocation. You may see a dialog, such as the one shown below in Photoshop if you click out of Mask Pro. While you are using Mask Pro, Photoshop is in a waiting state. When you complete or cancel your work in Mask Pro your image will return to Photoshop as usual.

NOTE: We have had a few customers report the product never launches. We have released an update which resolves this issue and can be downloaded from our software updates page.

Plug-in Suit 5 owners need to download the Plug-in Suite 5.1.1 udpate.

How to access the plug-ins in Photoshop

These instructions show how to access the onOne Plug-ins from Adobe Photoshop CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.

The first step is to make sure you have an image open in Adobe Photoshop before attempting to access any of the onOne Software plug-ins.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 and CS5

There are two ways to access the onOne Software plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and CS5.

NOTE: The onOne menu will NOT be available in the top menu bar in Photoshop. We have had a few customers report they are also not able to access the plug-ins from the onOne panel. We are investigating this issue and are working with Adobe to get this resolved. The workaround is to use the File > Automate menu (instructions below).

Option 1: Launch the onOne Panel – Go to the Window menu and choose Extensions > onOne

Option 2: Go to the File > Automate Menu

Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3

There are three different ways to access the plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3.

Option 1: Launch the plug-ins from the onOne menu

Option 2: Go to the File > Automate Menu (See File > Automate image above)

Adobe Photoshop Elements

There is only one way access the plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Please make sure to open an image in ‘Edit’ mode and then go to File > Automation Tools.

The plug-ins are missing after installing into Adobe Photoshop CS4

The first thing to check is to make sure Photoshop was closed during installation of the plug-in. If not, simply restart Photoshop. Once Photoshop is open, please go to Window > Extenstions > onOne

This will open the onOne panel giving you access to your product. Just open an image in Photoshop and choose your plug-in from the onOne panel. The onOne panel is only available for the latest versions of our products running in Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Plug-in Suite 5, Genuine Fractals 6 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoTools 2.5 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoFrame 4.5 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoTune 3, FocalPoint 2, and Mask Pro 4.1.7) .

The plug-ins are not showing in the onOne palette – Non-English Operating Systems

Unfortunately, the onOne palette is only compatible with operating systems in English. The palette is not available for non-English operating systems.

Please make sure the latest version of Microsoft.net framework 3.5 installed along with Visual Studio 2008.

These are “helper” files needed from Windows (XP, Vista, and 7) for our programs to work properly. In most cases, the Microsoft updates usually install these two files.

I am receiving a message with the onOne Library and a RED X – Windows only

Here is the error window you will see:

Please close all of your applications currently open (Photoshop, etc). To remove this error message, please remove the following two files which are parts to the onOne Library:

onOne Library.dll
onOne Library.acel.8bx

These two files help create the onOne menu. These files are in the following location:
Windows: \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-Ins

Please see notes below regarding this issue.

There is an issue with the onOne products when used in Adobe Photoshop CS4 on Windows. This issue causes some of the pop-up menus found within Photoshop CS4 to not appear correctly on screen – the menu items work but the icon for the menus do not appear consistently.

Please note that there is an incompatibility with the Windows version of Photoshop CS4 and the onOne menu. When installing any of these updates for the Windows version of Photoshop CS4, the onOne menu may not be present, as you have seen in the past. If you do not see the onOne menu, you can access the plug-ins from either the Filter > onOne menu or from the File > Automate menu.

The onOne menu will be phased out going forward. Our latest products (Plug-in Suite 5, Genuine Fractals 6.0.4, PhotoTools 2.5, PhotoFrame 4.5, Phototune 3, Mask Pro 4.1.7 and FocalPoint 2) include the onOne panel. To launch the onOne panel, please open Photoshop and then open an image. Go to Window > Extensions > onOne. This will open the onOne panel giving you access to the plug-ins.

I purchased the download version and have lost the installation. How can I download my product again?

Which onOne plug-ins support the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4 for Windows (Vista and 7)?

The following products will support the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4 (Vista and 7 only).

Genuine Fractals 6.0.4 (Standard and Professional Edition)

PhotoFrame 4.5 (Standard and Professional Edition)
FocalPoint 2
PhotoTune 3

If you have older versions of the above plug-ins and a 64-bit computer and version of Windows you can still install and run the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Photoshop CS4. In fact, the default installation of Photoshop CS4 in this circumstance will install both versions on your system. The installers for the older onOne Software products will detect the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS4 and will install the plug-ins correctly for this version of Photoshop CS4. You simply need to open the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS4 to use the onOne plug-ins. We are evaluating what needs to be done to our plug-ins to make them fully compatible with the 64-bit version of Photoshop and will make an announcement when 64-bit compatible versions are completed.
