The plug-ins are not showing in LightRoom 3 (Mac only)

If the plug-ins are not showing after running the installer, they can be installed into LightRoom 3 manually using the instructions below.

Please launch Lightroom 3 and go to File > Plug-in Manager
Click “Add” at the bottom left of the menu
A finder window will open to browse to the correct folder location (see path below)
Select the plug-in file and choose “Add Plug-in”

Path: Library/Application Support/Adobe/LightRoom/Modules

How to access the plug-ins in Photoshop

These instructions show how to access the onOne Plug-ins from Adobe Photoshop CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.

The first step is to make sure you have an image open in Adobe Photoshop before attempting to access any of the onOne Software plug-ins.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 and CS5

There are two ways to access the onOne Software plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and CS5.

NOTE: The onOne menu will NOT be available in the top menu bar in Photoshop. We have had a few customers report they are also not able to access the plug-ins from the onOne panel. We are investigating this issue and are working with Adobe to get this resolved. The workaround is to use the File > Automate menu (instructions below).

Option 1: Launch the onOne Panel – Go to the Window menu and choose Extensions > onOne

Option 2: Go to the File > Automate Menu

Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3

There are three different ways to access the plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS3.

Option 1: Launch the plug-ins from the onOne menu

Option 2: Go to the File > Automate Menu (See File > Automate image above)

Option 3: Go to Filter > onOne

Adobe Photoshop Elements

There is only one way access the plug-ins when using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Please make sure to open an image in ‘Edit’ mode and then go to File > Automation Tools.

The plug-ins are missing after installing into Adobe Photoshop CS4

The first thing to check is to make sure Photoshop was closed during installation of the plug-in. If not, simply restart Photoshop. Once Photoshop is open, please go to Window > Extenstions > onOne

This will open the onOne panel giving you access to your product. Just open an image in Photoshop and choose your plug-in from the onOne panel. The onOne panel is only available for the latest versions of our products running in Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Plug-in Suite 5, Genuine Fractals 6 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoTools 2.5 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoFrame 4.5 Standard and Professional Edition, PhotoTune 3, FocalPoint 2, and Mask Pro 4.1.7) .

The plug-ins are not showing in the onOne palette – Non-English Operating Systems

Unfortunately, the onOne palette is only compatible with operating systems in English. The palette is not available for non-English operating systems.

The plug-in menu is grayed out

Please make sure there is an image open before trying to access the plug-in. If there is an image open, please make sure it is in a supported color mode. In Photoshop go to the Image menu and select Mode. Make sure it’s in Grayscale, RGB, or CMYK.

NOTE: CMYK is not supported in the Standard Edition of Genuine Fractals.

Where are the LightRoom presets installed?

Under Windows XP they are located at C:\Documents and Settings\Your User\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Prests\WOW PhotoPresets.

Under Windows Vista Under Windows XP they are located at Local Disk (C:)\Users\Your User\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Prests\WOW PhotoPresets.

For Mac Users:
Mac HD/Users/User Account/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets/WOW PhotoPresets

How many computers can I install my purchased software on to?

The license you agree to during installation allows you to install on to 2 computers for all products made by onOne Software. You will also be able to load on either Macintosh or Windows. If you need to install on to more computers please contact sales for more information.

How do I uninstall the plug-in from Windows?

If you are using Windows XP you can uninstall by first making sure that Photoshop is not running. Then go to the Start menu and select Control Panels. Launch the Add or Remove Programs control panel, pick the name of the plug-in and then click on the Remove button.

For Windows Vista you want to go to the Window (Start) menu, select Control panel, and under the Programs option select Uninstall a Program. Select the name of the plug-in and then click on the Uninstall button.

NOTE: Please make sure to deactivate the product is you are moving the plug-in to a new computer.

How do I uninstall the plug-in from a Mac?

Please go to the locations below and drag these specified files to the trash.

MacHD>Applications; (remove all instances of onOne plugins folders)
MacHD>Applications>Adobe Photoshop>Plugins: (remove all onOne plugins, also need to delete the onOne Library file)
MacHD>Library>Receipts: (remove all Install .pkgs for onOne)
MacHD>Library>Application Support: (remove onOne folder)
MacHD>Users>(You/User)>Library>Application Support: (remove onOne folder)
MacHD>Users>(You/User)>Library>Preferences: (remove all com.ononesoftware.plist)

NOTE: Please make sure to deactivate the product if you are moving the plug-in to a new computer.

The plug-in installer is freezing or not launching – Windows only

This is due to the User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7 being turned on. Please adjust the UAC settings and try running the installer.

Go to: Control Panel/ User Accounts
Select the user account
Select “Change User Account Control Settings”
Set the UAC notification slider to “Never Notify”
Run the plug-in installer again. Once the installer is complete, you will be able to set the UAC to your preferred setting.
