Which onOne plug-ins support the 64-bit version of Adobe Photoshop (Windows only)?

The following products will support the 64-bit version of Photoshop (Windows Vista and Windows 7 only).

  • Perfect Photo Suite 6
  • Perfect Portrait 1
  • Perfect Effects 3
  • Perfect Mask 5
  • Perfect Resize 7 (Standard and Professional Edition)
  • FocalPoint 2
  • PhotoFrame 4.6 Professional Edition
  • Perfect Photo Suite 5.5.4
  • PhotoTools 2.6 Professional Edition
  • Genuine Fractals 6.0.8 (Standard and Professional Edition)
  • PhotoTools 2.6.1 Professional Edition
  • PhotoTools 2.5 (Standard and Professional Edition)
  • PhotoFrame 4.5 (Standard and Professional Edition)
  • PhotoTune 3.0.6

Note: If you have older versions of the above plug-ins and a 64-bit computer and version of Windows you can still install and run the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Photoshop. In fact, the default installation of Photoshop (CS4 and CS5) in this circumstance will install both versions on your system. The installers for the older onOne Software products will detect the 32-bit version of Photoshop (CS4 and CS5) and will install the plug-ins correctly for this version of Photoshop (CS4 and CS5). You simply need to open the 32-bit version of Photoshop (CS4 and CS5) to use the onOne plug-ins.

When attempting to deactivate after activating in both 32-bit and 64-bit CS 4 an error -20 occurs.

With Windows Vista and Windows 7 there is a feature called User Account Control (UAC).  With UAC this prevents both versions of our plug-in from writing to the registry.  You have to deactivate under the version of Photoshop you first activated under.

If you cannot remember which version of Photoshop CS 4 or CS5 (32-bit vs. 64-bit) you activated under you will need to use the included License Manager to deactivate with.  To locate this go to [Local Disk (C:)] Program FilesonOne Software<onOne Plug-In>.  Double click on the License Manager.exe and click on the button for Internet Deactivate.  Type in your license number and then click on the Deactivate button.

To easily activate/deactivate your onOne product in both versions of Photoshop you can temporarily turn off UAC and then activate under both versions of Photoshop.

If you cannot locate your license number please contact customer service and if you’re registered they will be able to retrieve your license number.
